Hi Everyone . . . !

There's chess over the boards as usual this Wednesday evening, August 28, 2019, from 5pm - 9pm, at Starbucks, located at 1536 Kirker Pass Rd., Clayton, Calif.  All ages and skill levels welcome, come by anytime, no purchase necessary, but it would be nice . . . !

Our Quads starts Wednesday Sept. 11th, with one USCF-rated match per week!  See last week's post for details!

Chess over the boards!

When:  This Wednesday, August 21, 2019
Where:  Starbucks, at 1536 Kirker Pass Rd., Clayton, Calif.
Time:  Come by anytime between 5:00 p.m. thru 9:00 p.m.
Who:  All ages, all skill levels welcome, from beginners to masters!

Looking Ahead:  Quads, or Round Robin Sets, starting Weds. Sept. 11th, minimum 3 matches if 4 players in a set; 5 matches if 6 players in a set.  USCF Rated, 1 match per week, G60/d5, EF= $25 before Sept. 10; $30 after Sept. 10.  Minimum 4 players, 1st Place $50; 2nd Place $35; If more than 4 players, 85% of all Entry Fees returned in cash prizes; if 6 or more players in a set, pays also for 3rd Place.  All players must be current USCF members.  Venue: Starbucks, or Carl's Jr. across parking lot, depending on number of players.  Matches start time: no later than 7:00 p.m.; 3 players have already stated that they're in!

CHESS this Wednesday August 7th at Starbucks!

Hi Everyone . . . !

Playing chess over the boards with players of all ages and skill levels is the thing to do this Wednesday evening, from 5:00pm - 9:00pm, at Starbucks, located at 1536 Kirker Pass Rd., Clayton, Calif.!  Come by anytime, the earlier the better for the better tables, more matches, and some really nice, interesting company!

Our chess session this month at Panera Bread Restaurant, located at the corner of Treat Blvd. and Bancroft Rd., in Walnut Creek, will be on Sunday, August 18, 2019, from 2:00pm - 5:30pm in the afternoon (come by anytime).  We meet at that Panera Bread Restaurant now every third Sunday of each month.
