Lots of fun, competitive chess this week . . . ! 

This Wednesday evening, Oct. 17, 2018:  from 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., fun, challenging coffeehouse chess at Starbucks, located at 1536 Kirker Pass Rd., Clayton, Calif.  All ages and skill levels welcome, no dues, no purchase required!  Come by anytime, earlier the better.

This coming Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018:  Rated Quads!  3 Rounds, Game/45;d5 at Carl's Jr. Restaurant, located at 1530 Kirker Pass Rd., Clayton, just across the parking lot from Starbucks.  EF = $25 before 10/21/18; $27 if on 10/21/18.  Register by 11:45 a.m. on 10/21/18

Game Times:  12 Noon; nlt 2:00 p.m.; nlt 4:00 p.m.  80% of entry fees returned in prize $$ for 1st & 2nd in Quads, + 3rd place if Swiss Pairings used if more players!  Current membership in USCF required.  Please bring chess set and clock.  Please let me know before 10/21/18 if you intend to join the fun of the USCF-rated matches this coming Sunday.  Thanks!
